The Parks & Recreation Commission is an advisory board
to the City Council on all matters relating to the parks
and recreation services offered by the City of Reedley.
The
Parks & Recreation Commission meets on the fourth Thursday
of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Sierra Room at the Reedley
Community Center, 100 N. East Avenue, Reedley, CA 93654,
(559) 637-4203.
Commissioners serve a three year term and
three of the five commissioners must reside within the City
limits.

The City of Reedley awards local, non-profit groups nine $350 Community Recreation Grants each year. Three awards are given out three times a year. The next Community Recreation Grant deadline for submission is April 15, 2010. Specifics of the grant are contained in the following Guidelines:
