Reedley Video

"It was a documentary that made you feel proud to be a member of the community, at least it made me feel that way." - Bud Brockett, Reedley Exponent

"It's a handsomely produced production that profiles the Reedley area with archival and historical details that make it very appealing in that area." - Scott Chaffin, Director of Programming, KUED 7 Public Television

In memoriam, the Reedley Historical Society has dedicated this wonderful video documentary to the late state poet laureate of California, Charles B. "Gus" Garrigus, a former Reedley resident, Reedley College professor and state Legislator. Garrigus' recitation of his poem about Reedley and the Kings River sets the tone for the documentary. Quick Time Player is required for playback and may be downloaded for free by clicking the logo above (right).
