Jr Giants is a youth baseball program for boys
and girls ages 8-12. This non-competitive league
teaches the fundamentals of baseball and the importance
of teamwork. This is a FREE program.
Season:
June-August.

Boys and girls ages 7 and 8 (by end of registration
period) are encouraged to participate in T-Ball.
This program stresses fundamentals and skills
pertaining to baseball. Registration is in February.

This local competition is held once a year during
the month of April. Boys and girls ages 7-14 are
encouraged to compete at no cost. Top winners
from each event and overall winner will advance
to a sectional competition.
Our youth basketball program is for boys and
girls in third through eighth grades. The program
is designed for participants to learn the game
of basketball and its fundamentals. Practices
will begin in December and games in January. All
games are played at the Reedley Community Center.

The Youth Soccer program is sponsored by Reedley-Kings River Youth Soccer. If you are a girl or boy between the ages of 5 and 14, there is a coed team for you (confident 4 1/2 year olds are allowed). We hope to introduce Under-8 girls teams this year. All players are required to provide a copy of their birth certificate and a wallet size photo to sign-up. Practices begin in late August and games start in September. For further information, please call (559) 305-1734. Registration is Mid-May through July 4th.
This novice youth sports program is designed
to give boys and girls ages 5 and 6 (by end of
registration period) a positive sports experience.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn
the basic skills of baseball and softball. Registration
is in February.

The Minor League baseball program is geared for
boys and girls ages 9 through 12 (by end of registration
period).

This local competition is held every year during
the month of September. Boys and girls ages 8-15

Classes include: Beginning Tumbling, Tumbling and Intermediate Tumbling Classes are available throughout the year. Intermediate Tumbling is geared for older children who are or wish to be cheerleaders.
Babysitting Class
Training course is provided to individuals ages 11-15, to provide them with the information and skills necessary to provide safe and responsible care of children in the absence of their parent or guardian.

and recreational opportunities. (Child must be
3 years of age by Dec.1st of the year you enroll). Registration
for PreSchool and PreKindergarten classes for
new students begins in August.

your child in our PreKindergarten class.
Your child will participate in socialization skills
and creative activities. Give your child
a positive first experience in school before kindergarten.

In order to register your child, you must bring
child's birth certificate and record of immunizations
showing child is current on immunizations.

Children 18 years of age and younger are invited
to participate in our Summer Food Service Program
at 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. for breakfast and 11:30
a.m. to 12:00 noon for lunch beginning in June
after school ends for summer break. The free lunches
are distributed in C.F. Mueller Park behind the
Reedley Community Center. The program runs from
Monday through Friday during June and July. No
reservations or paperwork is required. All children
are eligible. Lunches are served on a first come
first served basis.
The Pet and Storybook Parade is usually held
in late April or early May. All entries should
be in line at 13th and "F" Streets by
9:30 a.m. on parade day. Entry forms are available
at the Community Services Department. Prizes are
awarded in the following categories:
- Costumes (6 and under)
- Costumes (7 and over)
- Tricycles & Small Bicycles
- Small Animals (puppies, mice, birds, fowl,
etc..)
- Dogs
- Small Floats
- Bicycles & Tricycles (Large)
- Medium Size Animals
- Large Animals (horses, goats, etc..)
Bring your Easter Egg basket and join us. Activities include face painting and spin art. Hunts will be grouped by ages.

Enjoy 8 weeks of fun filled days of activities
that include sports, games, drama, field trips,
swimming, movies, arts & crafts, and many
other great activities. This program is supervised
daily by trained and qualified recreational leaders.
Free breakfast and lunches are available to all
participants 18 years and under each day we are
open.

members are encouraged to work together to empower
youth and adults to lead healthy, drug-free
lifestyles. Get involved! Our youth are our
future and need the message of zero tolerance

October Red Ribbon Week Activities
Games and activities for ages 2-12. Bounce house, coloring contest, carnival games and much more. Prizes are awarded for the costume contest; candy prizes are given at each booth. Parents and children are encouraged to join in the fun together. For those who enjoy a scare a haunted house is provided by the Teen Center.
