Tai Chi is a series of slow, continuous movement to strengthen the body and calm the spirit. Tai Chi improves balance while helping with overall better health. It relieves stress and allows for integration of your mind and body. Tai Chi helps with balance, strengthening the immune system arthritis, high blood pressure and osteoporosis.

This is a FREE class. Zumba involves dance and aerobic movements performed to energetic music. The choreography incorporates hip-hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo. Squats and lunges are also included. No advance registration required.

RABOBANK FIESTA WALK RUN
The Rabobank Fiesta Walk Run is a Valley Runner of the Year Series 20 point race for the 5 mile run. Due to this classification, we should see runners from all around the valley participating. In addition to the highly competitive series race, we also have categories for runners as young as 2 who can compete in the 1/8 mile run. There are also the ¼ mile and ½ mile for kids. Older children and adults can compete in the 2 and 5 mile walks and runs. Both competitive and non-competitive entries are available. Awards are given to each gender, age group and race. All races start and end in the downtown area. Come early for the race and stay for the Fiesta Parade and events in the park afterward.

All kids races are only $6.00; Adults are $23 (postmarked by Sept. 22); $28 (afterward)
A race shirt is provided to all pre-registered runners; late registration shirts until supplies last.
MOVIES IN THE PARK
Free movies are shown on the band shell in Pioneer Park (across from the Police Department) during the summer. Special themed activities take place before the movie starts. Pre-movie games start at 8:00 pm. Movie starts at 8:30 pm. You are welcome to bring your own food and drinks, lawn chairs, blankets, etc. Food is available for purchase. This is a family friendly event and all movies are appropriate for all ages. 2017 movies: Lego Batman Movie, Beauty and the Beast, and Sing.
The Adult Softball program is divided into lower, middle & upper divisions. The season runs from June through August. Any interested teams or individuals are encouraged to sign up.2018 Adult Softball Rules
The Adult Basketball program begins in March. Gather some friends together to join the fun!
CPR & First Aid Classes
Adult & Child CPR and First Aid Classes available several times a year. Prepare for emergencies with American Red Cross training. These programs are designed to give you the confidence to respond in an emergency situation with skills that can save a life.
No reservations are needed - simply call (559) 637-4202 for your pick-up. Dial-A-Ride runs Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. through 5:30 p.m; Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. The cost for transportation inside City limits is $ .75 for the general public, and $ .50 for seniors 55-65, person with a disability and children who are accompanied by an adult. Seniors 65 and older are FREE.
The Community Services Department is always in need of volunteer coaches for our youth sports programs. If you can't take a team by yourself, consider being an assistant coach with someone else. Please call (559) 637-4203 and volunteer to help. Coaching clinics will be offered on rules and strategies necessary to be a successful coach!
