Officer Javier Bejar

Officer Javier Bejar passed away the morning of Monday, March 1st, 2010, after being taken off life support. Your thoughts and prayers for the Bejar family are encouraged.

 

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8th, 2010, at 10 a.m. in the Fresno Exhibit Hall, located at 848 M Street in Fresno. Interment will take place the same day at approximately 1 p.m. at the Reedley Cemetery, located at 2185 S. Reed Avenue (map). The funeral procession from the Fresno Exhibit Hall to the Reedley Cemetery will proceed on the following route (procession route map). Please note that Reed Avenue, between Dinuba and Floral Avenue's, will be closed to thru traffic Monday morning and afternoon to allow for funeral related traffic and parking.

A Candlelight Vigil will be held in honor of Officer Bejar Sunday, March 7th, at 7 p.m. at the Reedley High School Stadium, located at 740 W. North Avenue (map).

 

The Reedley Police Officer's Association (POA) has set-up the Javier Bejar Support Fund at Chase Banks. Contributions can be made at any Chase Bank Location.
