On behalf of the men and women of the Reedley Police Department, I would like to personally welcome you to our department’s website. We are a progressive police department made up of a diverse group of men and women, sworn and non-sworn, who strive to keep Reedley a safe, family-friendly city.
The Reedley Police Department is rich in history seeing many changes since the beginning when Constables patrolled the streets.
Much has changed both in the city and in the police department over the years. With the growth of the city, police department operations have grown more complex. We are committed to utilizing the best and most advanced technology available.
What has not changed is the commitment of the women and men of the organization to providing the best possible service to the community. It is because of this dedication that the organization is well respected and the city remains a great place to be.
The primary goal of the Department is protection of life and property, prevention of crime and apprehension of criminals. The Department strives to provide a safe and secure environment for the residents of the City and to those who work, travel and shop here.
The web is just one demonstration of how we use technology to advance the agency’s mission. Technology is also a vital part of our efforts to enforce the law, keep the public safe and informed.
Using data driven policing we are able to spot crime trends as they are beginning to develop and we are able to precisely target communities that have been victimized by criminals. With this information, we can then deploy our officers and resources in the most effective and efficient way.
